However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Charles Hénard - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A young lady, in white dress with lace trim with garland of pink flowers draped over her right shoulder and another tied around her right arm at the elbow, blue ribbon tied with a bow at her right shoulder, loose powdered hair dressed 'à la conseill, which sold at auction in June 2008 for GBP 7,500.00 (€ 9,480.25).
