Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2013 a collector was able to acquire the work Last Days Of Summer by Charles Harry Eaton for USD 4,063.00 (€ 2,988.82). This price was achieved in the auction American Paintings, Drawings & Sculpture at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Charles Harry Eaton have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in September 2005 by the work Autumn Brook at USD 6,000.00 (€ 4,975.95).
