Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 5,100.00 (€ 5,804.29) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Charles Haigh-Wood achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Fair Deceivers in October 2002 with an auction result of USD 71,700.00 (€ 72,563.51).
