Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Monument Sunrise 16 x 12 in. framed 26 x 22 in. by Charles H. Pabst was sold in the California and Western Art Online auction at Bonhams in Los Angeles in December last year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 800.00 – 1,200.00, the actual price achieved of USD 892.50 (€ 834.27) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Charles H. Pabst have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Gathering Storm in April this year with an auction result of USD 6,120.00 (€ 5,543.48).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Monument Sunrise 16 x 12 in. framed 26 x 22 in. von Charles H. Pabst wurde im Dezember letzten Jahres in der Auktion California and Western Art Online bei Bonhams in Los Angeles versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 892,50 (€ 834,27) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Charles H. Pabst auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Gathering Storm im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 6.120,00 (€ 5.543,48).
