Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Charles Gregory could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in January 2015 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Old Master & 19th Century European Art auction, the work The Doles changed hands for USD 8,125.00 (€ 7,196.63) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Charles Gregory - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Royal Yacht Squadron's Viking at anchor off Cowes; The Royal Yacht Squadron's Viking off the Needles, a pair, which sold at auction in May 2019 for GBP 16,312.00 (€ 18,464.21).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Charles Gregory konnte im Januar 2015 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden.
