Auction result well in line with expectations
The work See Britain First On Shell, High Tor Matlock Bath by Charles-Dominique Fouqueray was auctioned at Bonhams in Paris in June last year. The price achieved of EUR 637.50 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 500.00 – 700.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Charles-Dominique Fouqueray achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A View of the North-Western Facade of Yeni Cami situated along the Golden Horn with the Dome and Minarettes of Hagia Sophia behind, Constantinople in October 2006 with an auction result of USD 69,600.00 (€ 54,489.94).
Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A View of the North-Western Facade of Yeni Cami situated along the Golden Horn with the Dome and Minarettes of Hagia Sophia behind, Constantinople im Oktober 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 69.600,00 (€ 54.489,94).
