Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Charles Ernest Cundall could be acquired at Christies in London in January 2009 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Christie's Interiors auction, the work Fountains Abbey changed hands for GBP 500.00 (€ 562.83) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 600.00 – 800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Charles Ernest Cundall achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Cup Tie At Crystal Palace, Corinthians V Manchester City in December this year with an auction result of GBP 127,400.00 (€ 146,759.92).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Charles Ernest Cundall konnte im Januar 2009 bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Christie's Interiors wechselte die Arbeit Fountains Abbey für GBP 500,00 (€ 562,83) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 600,00 – 800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Charles Ernest Cundall erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Cup Tie At Crystal Palace, Corinthians V Manchester City im Dezember diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 127.400,00 (€ 146.759,92).
