In May 2014 Christies in London held the auction 19th Century European Art, which included the work Feeding time by Charles Émile Jacque. The auction ended at the price of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 6,145.16), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Charles Émile Jacque achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Shepherdess with her Flock near a Stream in May 2001 with an auction result of USD 105,000.00 (€ 124,186.87).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im Mai 2014 führte Christies in London die Auktion 19th Century European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Feeding time von Charles Émile Jacque zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 6.145,16) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Charles Émile Jacque erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Shepherdess with her Flock near a Stream im Mai 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 105.000,00 (€ 124.186,87).
