Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Charles Émile Jacque achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in June 2015. In the Interiors auction, the work Moonlight (Clair de lune) sold for USD 8,750.00 (€ 7,844.72) - well above the upper estimate of USD 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Charles Émile Jacque achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Shepherdess with her Flock near a Stream in May 2001 with an auction result of USD 105,000.00 (€ 124,186.87).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Charles Émile Jacque erzielte im Juni 2015 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Interiors wurde die Arbeit Moonlight (Clair de lune) für USD 8.750,00 (€ 7.844,72) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Charles Émile Jacque erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Shepherdess with her Flock near a Stream im Mai 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 105.000,00 (€ 124.186,87).
