Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In March 2008 Christies in London held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work Evening duties by Charles Edward Wilson. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 800.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 875.00 (€ 1,099.22). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Charles Edward Wilson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Home Sweet Home in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 15,600.00 (€ 23,149.62).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im März 2008 führte Christies in London die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit Evening duties von Charles Edward Wilson zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 800,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 875,00 (€ 1.099,22) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Charles Edward Wilson erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Home Sweet Home im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 15.600,00 (€ 23.149,62).
