Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Eashing Bridge, near Godalming by Charles Edward Wilson was sold in the Victorian and British Impressionist Pictures including Drawings and Watercolours auction at Christies in London in November 2009. It changed hands for a price of GBP 2,750.00 (€ 3,009.52) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Charles Edward Wilson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Home Sweet Home in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 15,600.00 (€ 23,149.62).

Die Arbeit Eashing Bridge, near Godalming von Charles Edward Wilson wurde im November 2009 in der Auktion Victorian and British Impressionist Pictures including Drawings and Watercolours bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 2.750,00 (€ 3.009,52) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00.
