Auction result well in line with expectations
In February 2019 Sothebys in New York held the auction 19th Century European Art, which included the work British Kate by Charles Edward Perugini. The price achieved of USD 30,000.00 (€ 26,364.36) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Admittedly, works by Charles Edward Perugini have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Hop Picker in November 2004 with an auction result of GBP 173,250.00 (€ 249,219.19).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Februar 2019 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion 19th Century European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit British Kate von Charles Edward Perugini zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 30.000,00 (€ 26.364,36) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 25.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Charles Edward Perugini auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Hop Picker im November 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 173.250,00 (€ 249.219,19).
