Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Cunard To Canada by Charles E. Turner was sold in the 19th and 20th Century Vintage Posters auction at Bonhams in London in February last year. The price achieved of GBP 701.25 (€ 838.39) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 600.00 – 800.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Charles E. Turner - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work R.A.F Display, which sold at auction in October 2012 for GBP 1,875.00 (€ 2,331.23).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 701,25 (€ 838,39) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 600,00 – 800,00 angegeben worden.
