Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2014 Artcurial held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art, which included the work Les Geographes - Circa 1933 by Charles Dufresne. The price achieved of EUR 1,300.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Charles Dufresne achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Retour De Chasse – Circa 1913 in November 2017 with an auction result of EUR 37,700.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2014 führte Artcurial die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Les Geographes - Circa 1933 von Charles Dufresne zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.300,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Charles Dufresne erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Retour De Chasse – Circa 1913 im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 37.700,00.
