A top price for Charles Christian Nahl - as previously expected
The work Lady with a Parrot by Charles Christian Nahl was sold in the The European Art Sale Part II auction at Sothebys in New York in January last year. The price achieved of USD 17,640.00 (€ 15,733.14) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Lady with a Parrot is the most expensive artwork by Charles Christian Nahl that we have observed at auctions so far.
