The result of GBP 500.00 (€ 525.15) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 500.00 – 700.00. Other works by Charles Cattermole have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March 2001 the work Royalist cavalry on the road was auctioned for GBP 528.75 (€ 853.19).
