It achieved a price of GBP 1,500.00 (€ 1,804.27), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 67%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Charles Bartlett achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Surf Riders, Honolulu, circa 1921 in September last year with an auction result of USD 31,875.00 (€ 32,582.03).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 1.500,00 (€ 1.804,27) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 67%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Charles Bartlett erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Surf Riders, Honolulu, circa 1921 im September letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 31.875,00 (€ 32.582,03).
