The work Portrait of Gaspard de Gueidan playing the musette by Charles-Antoine Coypel was sold in the Old Master & British Drawings & Watercolours auction at Christies in London in July 2013. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,426.74), 25% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Charles-Antoine Coypel achieve.
