The »bidding war« ended at USD 13,750.00 (€ 13,030.71), 53% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chana Orloff achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Torse in November 2012 with an auction result of USD 326,500.00 (€ 250,960.80).

Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chana Orloff erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Torse im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 326.500,00 (€ 250.960,80).
