Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Personage, 1994 by Chaïbia Talal was sold in the A Moroccan Spring auction at Artcurial in Marrakech in May 2021. The »bidding war« ended at MAD 104,000.00 (€ 9,125.80), 16% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Chaïbia Talal have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work La Mariée, 1988 in December 2021 with an auction result of MAD 728,000.00 (€ 68,824.88).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Personage, 1994 von Chaïbia Talal wurde im Mai 2021 in der Auktion A Moroccan Spring bei Artcurial in Marrakesch versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von MAD 104.000,00 (€ 9.125,80) und damit 16% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Chaïbia Talal auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit La Mariée, 1988 im Dezember 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von MAD 728.000,00 (€ 68.824,88).
