Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Composition, 1968 by Chaïbia Talal was auctioned at Artcurial in Marrakech in May 2021. It achieved a price of MAD 117,000.00 (€ 10,266.52), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. Admittedly, works by Chaïbia Talal have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work La Mariée, 1988 in December 2021 with an auction result of MAD 728,000.00 (€ 68,824.88).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Composition, 1968 von Chaïbia Talal kam im Mai 2021 bei Artcurial in Marrakesch zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von MAD 117.000,00 (€ 10.266,52) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Chaïbia Talal auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit La Mariée, 1988 im Dezember 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von MAD 728.000,00 (€ 68.824,88).
