A top price for Cestmir Kratky - as previously expected
In November 2013 Christies in Paris held the auction Photographies, which included the work Resplendant Face, 1963 by Cestmir Kratky. The price achieved of EUR 12,500.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Resplendant Face, 1963 is the most expensive artwork by Cestmir Kratky that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im November 2013 führte Christies in Paris die Auktion Photographies durch, in der auch die Arbeit Resplendant Face, 1963 von Cestmir Kratky zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 12.500,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Resplendant Face, 1963 das teuerste Kunstwerk von Cestmir Kratky, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
