Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Boating at sunset by Cesare Maggi was sold in the Impressionist and Modern Art auction at Christies in Amsterdam in June 2012. The price achieved of EUR 4,750.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Cesare Maggi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Alta Montagna in June 2008 with an auction result of EUR 99,150.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Boating at sunset von Cesare Maggi wurde im Juni 2012 in der Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 4.750,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Cesare Maggi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Alta Montagna im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 99.150,00.
