This artwork by Cesare Maggi achieved an unexpectedly high price at Il Ponte in June last year. In the Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX Secolo auction, the work Grandes Jorasses, Monte Bianco sold for EUR 6,500.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Cesare Maggi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Alta Montagna in June 2008 with an auction result of EUR 99,150.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Cesare Maggi erzielte im Juni letzten Jahres bei Il Ponte einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX Secolo wurde die Arbeit Grandes Jorasses, Monte Bianco für EUR 6.500,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Cesare Maggi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Alta Montagna im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 99.150,00.
