Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2021 a collector was able to acquire the work Sauze d'Oulx (Salice d'Ulzio) by Cesare Maggi for EUR 1,500.00. This price was achieved in the auction Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX secolo at Il Ponte and was even below the estimate range of EUR 1,800.00 – 2,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Cesare Maggi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Alta Montagna in June 2008 with an auction result of EUR 99,150.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2021 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Sauze d'Oulx (Salice d'Ulzio) von Cesare Maggi für EUR 1.500,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX secolo bei Il Ponte erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.800,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Cesare Maggi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Alta Montagna im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 99.150,00.
