Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Femme orientale by Cesare Dell'Acqua was sold in the 19th Century European Art, including Spanish and Orientalist Art auction at Christies in London in June 2007. The price achieved of GBP 26,400.00 (€ 39,176.27) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Cesare Dell'Acqua achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Italianan Ottoman Beauty in April 2018 with an auction result of GBP 405,000.00 (€ 461,251.86).
