Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Italian Large Sketch Book by Cesare Dell'Acqua was auctioned at Sothebys in London in March 2008. The price achieved of GBP 9,375.00 (€ 11,777.33) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Cesare Dell'Acqua achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Italianan Ottoman Beauty in April 2018 with an auction result of GBP 405,000.00 (€ 461,251.86).

Die Arbeit Italian Large Sketch Book von Cesare Dell'Acqua kam im März 2008 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 9.375,00 (€ 11.777,33) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Cesare Dell'Acqua erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Italianan Ottoman Beauty im April 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 405.000,00 (€ 461.251,86).
