Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Vita nel Vicolo by Cesare Ciani was auctioned at Christies in Rome in May 2002. It changed hands for a price of EUR 1,984.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Cesare Ciani - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Giovane donna pensosa, which sold at auction in May 2002 for EUR 5,952.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Vita nel Vicolo von Cesare Ciani kam im Mai 2002 bei Christies in Rom zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 1.984,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Cesare Ciani mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Giovane donna pensosa beobachtet, die im Mai 2002 für EUR 5.952,00 versteigert wurde.
