The work La bimba by Cesare Ciani was sold in the 19th and 20th century Paintings and Sculptures auction at Il Ponte in June 2021. The auction ended at the price of EUR 500.00, which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of EUR 450.00 – 500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Cesare Ciani achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Giovane donna pensosa in May 2002 with an auction result of EUR 5,952.00.
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit La bimba von Cesare Ciani wurde im Juni 2021 in der Auktion 19th and 20th century Paintings and Sculptures bei Il Ponte versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 500,00 entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 450,00 – 500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Cesare Ciani erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Giovane donna pensosa im Mai 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 5.952,00.
