Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2002 Christies in Rome held the auction ARTE DEL XIX SECOLO, which included the work Scorcio di paese con figure by Cesare Ciani. It changed hands for a price of EUR 3,472.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Other works by Cesare Ciani have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2002 the work Giovane donna pensosa was auctioned for EUR 5,952.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2002 führte Christies in Rom die Auktion ARTE DEL XIX SECOLO durch, in der auch die Arbeit Scorcio di paese con figure von Cesare Ciani zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 3.472,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 2.500,00 – 3.500,00. Andere Arbeiten von Cesare Ciani konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2002 die Arbeit Giovane donna pensosa für EUR 5.952,00 versteigert.
