Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2012 Artcurial held the auction Contemporary Art, which included the work Composition Abstraite, 1949 by César Domela. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 3,604.00 20% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by César Domela achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Dutch Composition Néoplastique in November 2014 with an auction result of GBP 422,500.00 (€ 531,199.15).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2012 führte Artcurial die Auktion Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Composition Abstraite, 1949 von César Domela zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 3.604,00 und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von César Domela erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Dutch Composition Néoplastique im November 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 422.500,00 (€ 531.199,15).
