Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Marine by Celso Lagar was auctioned at Artcurial in April 2015. The price achieved of EUR 1,040.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Celso Lagar achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Hommage à Guynemer in November 2012 with an auction result of EUR 145,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Marine von Celso Lagar kam im April 2015 bei Artcurial zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.040,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Celso Lagar erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Hommage à Guynemer im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 145.000,00.
