A top price for Céline van Balen - as previously expected
The work (I) Figen(II) Yesim by Céline van Balen was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2021. The price achieved of EUR 4,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, (I) Figen(II) Yesim is the most expensive artwork by Céline van Balen that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit (I) Figen(II) Yesim von Céline van Balen kam im November 2021 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 4.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist (I) Figen(II) Yesim das teuerste Kunstwerk von Céline van Balen, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
