Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work "Självporträtt med Pistol", 1993 by Cecilia Edefalk was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in March 2020, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 300,000.00 – 350,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 260,000.00 (€ 23,762.81). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Cecilia Edefalk achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Baby" in November 2010 with an auction result of SEK 5,900,000.00 (€ 644,944.77).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit "Självporträtt med Pistol", 1993 von Cecilia Edefalk im März 2020 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 300.000,00 – 350.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 260.000,00 (€ 23.762,81) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Cecilia Edefalk erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Baby" im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 5.900.000,00 (€ 644.944,77).
