Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Woman and Landscape by Cecil Collins was auctioned at Bonhams in London in November this year. The price achieved of GBP 1,152.00 (€ 1,334.92) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Cecil Collins achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Greeting in June 2015 with an auction result of GBP 70,000.00 (€ 98,699.12).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Woman and Landscape von Cecil Collins kam im November diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.152,00 (€ 1.334,92) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Cecil Collins erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Greeting im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 70.000,00 (€ 98.699,12).
