Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Plant Study by Cavendish Morton was sold in the Twentieth Century British Art auction at Christies in London in December 2002. The price achieved of GBP 235.00 (€ 360.74) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 200.00 – 300.00. Other works by Cavendish Morton have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in December 2002 the work Barge Going up River to Snape Bridge was auctioned for GBP 352.50 (€ 541.11).
