Auction result misses estimated price range
In August 2010 a collector was able to acquire the work Portrait of an elegant lady, full-length, reclining on a sofa by Cathleen Mann for GBP 687.50 (€ 831.13). This price was achieved in the auction Christie's Interiors at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 700.00 – 1,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Cathleen Mann have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Woman at the Fair in December 2012 with an auction result of GBP 5,250.00 (€ 6,474.71).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im August 2010 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Portrait of an elegant lady, full-length, reclining on a sofa von Cathleen Mann für GBP 687,50 (€ 831,13) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 700,00 – 1.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Cathleen Mann auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Woman at the Fair im Dezember 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 5.250,00 (€ 6.474,71).
