Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Cathleen Mann could be acquired at Christies in London in March 2002 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Twentieth Century British Art auction, the work Path Through the Forest changed hands for GBP 188.00 (€ 307.33) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 200.00 – 300.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Cathleen Mann achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Woman at the Fair in December 2012 with an auction result of GBP 5,250.00 (€ 6,474.71).
