In July 2010 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Master and British Paintings Evening Sale, which included the work A Portrait Of A Lady, Wearing A Blue-And-White Satin Dress, At Her Toilet, Attended By A Negro Page Bearing A Dish Of Fruit by Caspar Netscher. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 469,250.00 (€ 564,220.25), 34% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Caspar Netscher have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Woman Feeding A Parrot in June 2014 with an auction result of USD 5,093,000.00 (€ 3,720,233.75).

Im Juli 2010 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Master and British Paintings Evening Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Portrait Of A Lady, Wearing A Blue-And-White Satin Dress, At Her Toilet, Attended By A Negro Page Bearing A Dish Of Fruit von Caspar Netscher zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 469.250,00 (€ 564.220,25) und damit 34% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Caspar Netscher auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Woman Feeding A Parrot im Juni 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 5.093.000,00 (€ 3.720.233,75).
