In the Zeichnungen Alter Meister auction, the work Am Bosphorus. sold for CHF 1,920.00 (€ 1,576.47) - well above the upper estimate of CHF 800.00. Admittedly, works by Carol Popp de Szathmari have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Haremsszene in einer Flusslandschaft. in March 2014 with an auction result of CHF 7,800.00 (€ 6,404.41).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Carol Popp de Szathmari erzielte im März 2014 bei Koller einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Zeichnungen Alter Meister wurde die Arbeit Am Bosphorus. für CHF 1.920,00 (€ 1.576,47) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von CHF 800,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Carol Popp de Szathmari auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Haremsszene in einer Flusslandschaft. im März 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CHF 7.800,00 (€ 6.404,41).
