A top price for Carlyle Brown
In December 2016 Christies in London held the auction A Surreal Legacy: Selected works of art from The Edward James Foundation, which included the work Adam and Eve by Carlyle Brown. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 9,375.00 (€ 10,960.90), 34% above the upper estimate. With this result, Adam and Eve is even the most expensive work of art by Carlyle Brown that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Dezember 2016 führte Christies in London die Auktion A Surreal Legacy: Selected works of art from The Edward James Foundation durch, in der auch die Arbeit Adam and Eve von Carlyle Brown zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 9.375,00 (€ 10.960,90) und damit 34% über dem oberen Schätzpreis.
