Auction result well in line with expectations
The work El Rapto by Carlos Enríquez was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in November 2017. The price achieved of USD 30,000.00 (€ 25,214.32) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Carlos Enríquez achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Héroe criollo in November 2016 with an auction result of USD 967,500.00 (€ 914,634.15).

Die Arbeit El Rapto von Carlos Enríquez kam im November 2017 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 30.000,00 (€ 25.214,32) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 25.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Carlos Enríquez erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Héroe criollo im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 967.500,00 (€ 914.634,15).
