The work Versilia by Carlo Mattioli was sold in the Contemporary Art Online | Milan auction at Sothebys in Milan in February 2020. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 16,250.00 35% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Carlo Mattioli - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Spiaggia d'estate, which sold at auction in May last year for EUR 38,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 35 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Versilia von Carlo Mattioli wurde im Februar 2020 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Online | Milan bei Sothebys in Mailand versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 16.250,00 und damit 35% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Carlo Mattioli mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Spiaggia d'estate beobachtet, die im Mai letzten Jahres für EUR 38.000,00 versteigert wurde.
