Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Carlo Mattioli achieved an unexpectedly high price at Il Ponte in June 2015. In the Arte Moderna e Contemporanea auction, the work Papaveri sold for EUR 17,000.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 6,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Carlo Mattioli - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Spiaggia d'estate, which sold at auction in May last year for EUR 38,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Carlo Mattioli erzielte im Juni 2015 bei Il Ponte einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Arte Moderna e Contemporanea wurde die Arbeit Papaveri für EUR 17.000,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 6.500,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Carlo Mattioli mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Spiaggia d'estate beobachtet, die im Mai letzten Jahres für EUR 38.000,00 versteigert wurde.
