In October 2010 Il Ponte held the auction Art, Collections, Wonderful Passions | The Giorgio Soavi Collection, which included the work Anna a 2 anni e mezzo by Carlo Mattioli. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 15,000.00 50% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Carlo Mattioli - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Spiaggia d'estate, which sold at auction in May last year for EUR 38,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 50 % übertroffen
Im Oktober 2010 führte Il Ponte die Auktion Art, Collections, Wonderful Passions | The Giorgio Soavi Collection durch, in der auch die Arbeit Anna a 2 anni e mezzo von Carlo Mattioli zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 15.000,00 und damit 50% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Carlo Mattioli mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Spiaggia d'estate beobachtet, die im Mai letzten Jahres für EUR 38.000,00 versteigert wurde.
