Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2002 Christies in London held the auction OLD MASTER PICTURES, which included the work A kitchen interior with a serving boy slicing prosciutto, a basket of vegetables hanging from the wall, bread, a glass, a bottle, and other objects on a partially draped table by Carlo Magini. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 5,287.50 (€ 8,433.77) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Carlo Magini achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Meat on a chopping-board, a mortar, a glass of water, an earthenware pitcher, a candlestick, a cauliflower in a tureen with oranges, onions, spring-onions and bread on a kitchen table; and Fried eggs in an earthenware bowl, a wine casket and a glass, in July 2005 with an auction result of GBP 153,600.00
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2002 führte Christies in London die Auktion OLD MASTER PICTURES durch, in der auch die Arbeit A kitchen interior with a serving boy slicing prosciutto, a basket of vegetables hanging from the wall, bread, a glass, a bottle, and other objects on a partially draped table von Carlo Magini zur Versteigerung kam. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit [Meat on a chopping-board, a mortar, a glass of water, an earthenware pitcher, a candlestick, a cauliflower in a tureen with oranges, onions, spring-onions and bread on a kitchen table; and Fried eggs in an earthenware bowl, a wine casket and a g
