Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2007 a collector was able to acquire the work Controluce by Carlo Fornara for EUR 26,650.00. This price was achieved in the auction 19th Century Paintings and Sculptures at Sothebys in Milan and was even below the estimate range of EUR 28,000.00 – 35,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Carlo Fornara have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Aratura In Argentina O La Conquista Della Terra ( Labourage En Argentine Ou La Conquête De La Terre) in June 2014 with an auction result of EUR 121,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2007 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Controluce von Carlo Fornara für EUR 26.650,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 19th Century Paintings and Sculptures bei Sothebys in Mailand erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 28.000,00 – 35.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Carlo Fornara auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Aratura In Argentina O La Conquista Della Terra ( Labourage En Argentine Ou La Conquête De La Terre) im Juni 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 121.500,00.
