Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In January 2021 Sothebys in New York held the auction Master Paintings & Sculpture Part I, which included the work Mater Dolorosa by Carlo Dolci. Here, the upper estimate of USD 300,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 308,700.00 (€ 254,388.13). Other works by Carlo Dolci have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 248,750.00 (€ 278,903.45) in July 2018 for the work Saint Agatha.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Januar 2021 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Master Paintings & Sculpture Part I durch, in der auch die Arbeit Mater Dolorosa von Carlo Dolci zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 300.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 308.700,00 (€ 254.388,13) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Carlo Dolci haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von GBP 248.750,00 (€ 278.903,45) im Juli 2018 für die Arbeit Saint Agatha beobachtet.
