Auction result well in line with expectations
In January last year Sothebys in New York held the auction Master Paintings Part II, which included the work View of Venice, Grand Canal by Carlo Bossoli. The price achieved of USD 37,800.00 (€ 33,713.88) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Carlo Bossoli achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A panorama of Constantinople from Uskudar in December 2010 with an auction result of GBP 553,250.00 (€ 641,768.33).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Januar letzten Jahres führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Master Paintings Part II durch, in der auch die Arbeit View of Venice, Grand Canal von Carlo Bossoli zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 37.800,00 (€ 33.713,88) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Carlo Bossoli erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A panorama of Constantinople from Uskudar im Dezember 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 553.250,00 (€ 641.768,33).
