Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A view of Yalta, Crimea by Carlo Bossoli was auctioned at Sothebys in London in December 2020. The price achieved of GBP 2,772.00 (€ 3,096.57) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,400.00 – 3,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Carlo Bossoli achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A panorama of Constantinople from Uskudar in December 2010 with an auction result of GBP 553,250.00 (€ 641,768.33).

Die Arbeit A view of Yalta, Crimea von Carlo Bossoli kam im Dezember 2020 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.772,00 (€ 3.096,57) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.400,00 – 3.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Carlo Bossoli erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A panorama of Constantinople from Uskudar im Dezember 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 553.250,00 (€ 641.768,33).
